I Am My Own Wife, a one-actor show by Doug Wright that won a Tony and a Pulitzer, among other awards, follows Charlotte von Mahlsdorf through the sweep of 20th century German history, dealing with questions of gender identity, sexuality, love and survival along the way. It's also a meditation on loyalty and the writing process, which sounds way more academic than the fascinating play. Vince Camillo takes on the more than 40 roles in the compelling script with the help of director and vocal specialist Mary Unruh. Show dates are Nov. 2-3, 8-11, 15-18 and 22-24.
