Eugene Weekly : Calendar : 5.5.11

.This Week's Calendar | Galleries | Music @ the Clubs

Deadline for Calendar and Art in the Galleries submissions are noon on Thursday, a week before the issue that covers your event. Send an e-mail with event, date, time, location and cost to attend to cal@eugeneweekly.com

Its Beer Week! Fridays Brew Fest Beer Dinner for the 2011 Sasquatch Brew Fest at the Hilton is already sold out, but if you know any good scalpers, ring •em up. The appetizer alone is reason to go ã bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with Rogue Creamery bleu cheese & spicy barbecue ã but youd stay for the craft beers paired with the meal. Thats all before the Beer Fest starts Saturday at noon. The festival showcases northwest craft brews in the memory of Glen Hay "Sasquatch” Falconer, a popular Eugene brewer, and helps fund brewing scholarships and other local charities. Dubious, the Vicci Martinez Band, The Quick & Easy Boys and the Ty Curtis Band all perfom Saturday at the Brew Fest.
