Eugene Weekly : Calendar : 5.26.11

.This Week's Calendar | Galleries | Music @ the Clubs

Deadline for Calendar and Art in the Galleries submissions are noon on Thursday, a week before the issue that covers your event. Send an e-mail with event, date, time, location and cost to attend to cal@eugeneweekly.com

Its always a sure thing: Whenever Tech N9ne hits town, its a sell out. The rapper, whose stage name derives from his machine-gun rapid-fire delivery, is a favorite of a paying slew of Eugenes wannabe bangers, bozos and bonks drawn to Techs technique, which was described by one critic as "bizarre hardcore rap.” His latest album, All 6s and 7s, is due out June 7, so be prepared for a load of new grooves and avalanche attacks of rhymes. And be sure to lock up your kids and grandma, theyll definitely have the detectors out for the Sunday, May 29, show at the Cuthbert.
