If you missed the world premiere of Eugene composer Paul SafarsConcerto for Electric Guitar and Orchestra (written for soloist Olem Alves) when it debuted back in February, you have another chance to hear it now. The Lane Chamber Orchestra,with Ron Bertucci conducting, will perform the classical piece that draws on Cherry Blossom Musical Arts founder Safars diverse influence from Beethovens Pathetique Piano Sonata to jazz, pop and rock as well as Alves improvisational skills at 7:30 pm Thursday, June 2, at the LCC Performance Hall.
