Director Thet Sambath spent years building relationships with the murderers of Cambodias killing fields, men who perpetrated the same crimes that killed his parents. Enemies of the People investigates the genocide from the perspectives of the killers ã from those who slit throats to Brother Number Two, Pol Pots second-in-command. Sambaths documentary is a personal quest to find out why, from the perspective of the killers, his family and so many other Cambodians perished under the Khmer Rouge regime. Enemies of the People screens 7:30pm Thursday, June 30 at Willamette 110, UO.
