Rock musicians June and Jean Millington will take Oregon by the fanny with shows and a talk in Eugene and Corvallis. The sisters were part of Fanny, one of the first all-female rock bands signed to a major label in the 1960s; David Bowie called Fanny “one of the finest fucking rock bands of their time…” The Millingtons will speak at 4pm Thursday, Oct. 6 at OSU, play 7:30pm Thursday, Oct. 6 at OSU, then head to Eugene for a show 8pm Friday at Cozmic Pizza.
