Eugene Weekly : Calendar : 12.1.11

.This Week's Calendar | Galleries | Music @ the Clubs

Deadline for Calendar and Art in the Galleries submissions are noon on Thursday, a week before the issue that covers your event. Send an e-mail with event, date, time, location and cost to attend to cal@eugeneweekly.com

Motivated by the idea that “kids are often left out” of performances of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, actor Al LePage is bringing to Eugene his one-man dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol for Kids, a 30-minute production that is aimed at children of all ages — but especially those ages 5-10. LePage, star of last year’s OPB Radio airing of A Christmas Carol, works his magic 10:30am Saturday, Dec. 3, at Lane County Historical Museum, with all proceeds going to benefit the museum; $2 kids, $3 adults; res. at 682-4242.
