Eugene Weekly : Calendar : 12.8.11

.This Week's Calendar | Galleries | Music @ the Clubs

Deadline for Calendar and Art in the Galleries submissions are noon on Thursday, a week before the issue that covers your event. Send an e-mail with event, date, time, location and cost to attend to cal@eugeneweekly.com

It’s nearly the ides of December, and with the permeating cold and lack of sun there’s one chilling fact that makes this time so bleak. That’s right, there are three more weeks until Eugene’s next art walk. Fortunately our neighboring city has stepped in to rescue us. The Downtown Springfield Second Friday Art Walk invites us to step east and enjoy art mid-month, and December’s walk features a flashlight tour led by the Eugene Storefront Art Project. Maps will be available on the route or at http://wkly.ws/152  The Downtown Springfield Second Friday Art Walk begins at 5pm Friday, Dec. 9, at NEDCO, 212 Main St., Spfd.
