Holiday Gifts Book Sale

I know. Halloween just passed. We haven’t even made it to Thanksgiving yet. But, it’s never too early to start thinking about what gifts to buy friends and family for the upcoming winter holiday season. On Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 am to 4 pm the Friends of Eugene Public Library is hosting a Holiday Gifts Book Sale at the downtown Eugene Public Library. Books in “gift-giving condition” will be for sale. All proceeds go to supporting Eugene Public Library programs. Both parking and admission to the book sale are FREE. From Friday, Nov. 3, to Sunday, Nov. 5, the Holiday Food & Gift Festival is taking place at the Lane Events Center. The festival features over 120 exhibitors selling an array of wares. There will also be food for purchase and sample. Parking and admission is FREE for this event as well. The Campbell Community Center (155 High Street) is also putting on its annual Holiday Bazaar from 9 am to 3 pm this Saturday, Nov. 4. The bazaar not only includes items for sale, but also raffles and a silent auction. This event is also FREE. For more events to shop for holiday gifts, check out the full calendar and make sure to pick up our Holiday Happenings issue for more holiday-related events Nov. 16 and our Gift Guide issue Nov. 22. — Meerah Powell
