Path to Autzen

UO Duck fans get home games two weeks in a row. Last week it was all sunshine for the victory over USC, and hopefully the sun will shine down again this Saturday for the big game against Arizona State. But getting to the games by foot and bicycle can be half the fun. It’s a great way to warm up on a chilly morning and a way to avoid parking problems. On game days, a long line of colorful and sometimes rowdy fans stretches from Franklin Boulevard to Autzen Stadium, and the parade has become as much a tradition as tailgating parties. This is the scenic route, crossing the beautiful Willamette River and wandering among turning trees and meadows. Osprey and nutria can often be spotted along the way, and the humans can be memorable as well. Forgot your sunglasses or tickets? Going against the flow is near impossible.
