The YMCA offers a Counselor in Training (CIT) Volunteer Program for teens ages 14-18 to develop leadership and volunteer experience as a camp counselor. As Counselors-in-Training, teens are an integral part of camp life including field trips, crafts, games and songs; and of course the ability to act silly and have fun IS required. Cost is $25/week and CIT's may register for any number of weeks throughout the summer.

Chainsaws aren’t just for Ash from Evil Dead. They can be used to make art, too. McKenzie River Chainsaw and Arts Festival features 14 of the world’s best carving artists to make art out of logs.
