Replicating Imperfection A show at Modern in Eugene for the month of May Recent work by Jenny Gray explores the concepts of repetition and the imperfections that occur as things are duplicated. Working in water-based media instead of her usual oil on canvas. This new type of working has allowed for different kinds of layering and laying down paint in totally different, non-"painterly” way, using many techniques from printmaking the graphic arts.
