A World of Bells
A Musical Performance and Talk with Composer Augusta Read Thomas

The museum is home to an incredible collection of musical instruments from around the world and across time. Join Eugene Symphony’s Composer-in-Residence, Grammy Award winner Augusta Read Thomas, as she explores the rich world of bells through a live performance with members of Third Coast Percussion Ensemble—and a special exhibition featuring a selection of treasured instruments from the museum’s collections. Cosponsored by the Eugene Symphony, the talk and performance draw from Thomas’s newly commissioned piece SONOROUS EARTH, which will be performed by the Eugene Symphony on April 19.

Included with regular museum admission; free for MNCH member and UO ID card holders.
