Allies, not Enemies: Intellectual Freedom and Social Justice
March 5 • 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm• Free
Some assert that core values of democracy, diversity, intellectual freedom, and social justice compel us to speak out on behalf of vulnerable members of our communities. Others argue that we should be committed to the principle of intellectual freedom. UO Libraries is hosting an interactive presentation and panel that will explore how we can constructively respond as educators and library professionals to protect human rights in our communities. For more information, please go to the Library website.
Event will be in the Knight Library Browsing Room.
