ART IN THE COUNTRY

The First-Annual Art in the Country Festival is being held on Saturday, August 4 on the grounds of the Applegate Regional Theater on the corner of Central and Fleck Roads, 2 miles south of Hwy. 126 (West 11th). It was formerly the Central Elementary School.
This is a fine art and author festival which will feature displays of all types of fine art including painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, glass art, ceramics and fiber art.
CALL TO ARTISTS! The upcoming ART IN THE COUNTRY Festival is now accepting applications from artists who are interested in showcasing their talents at our festival. The focus is on fine arts, and they are open to both 2-D, such as paintings or photographs, and 3-D works, such as ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, fiber and glass art.
Artists must send in your application right away. It can be obtained at https://www.art-inc.org/art-in-the-country. The DEADLINE IS JULY 10.
The festival will also feature over 20 Oregon Authors who will be signing autographs and selling their books. Signed up so far are:

There will also be a beer and wine garden, live music, 2 performance stages (one will be the Spoken and Written Word stage where there will be dramatic readings by the Applegate Regional Theater group and Oregon Authors reading from their current books). Food concessions and a Kids’ Zone will also be available.
