Caldera Songwriters Benefit Concert
December 14 • 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm• donation of cash or warm clothing
Eugene Caldera Songwriters celebrates the holiday season with their 7th annual concert at Tsunami Books, a benefit for the Egan Warming Center, on Friday, Dec. 14, 7:30-10:00 PM.
Eugene Caldera Songwriters is a group of local musicians including some of the area’s favorite singer-songwriters. Each year they offer an evening of community, celebration, and song as a benefit for the Egan Warming Center.
Hosted by Beth Wood and Laura Golden, the concert will present a mix of original music in various styles, mingled with haiku poetry, humor, and a heartwarming spirit of community and good will. This is an opportunity to hear some of the Eugene area’s brightest musical lights while supporting the vital community service Egan Warming Center provides.
The list of performers this year includes nationally known artists Beth Wood, Anna Tivel, and Jeffrey Martin, alongside local favorites such as Laura Golden, Barbara Turrill, Cross Current, Dave Taylor, Wandering Thyme, Len Grillo, Willie McEachern, Kathy Marshall and others.
Join the celebration on Friday, December 14th, 7:30-10:00 PM. Tsunami Books 2585 Willamette St.
A 5-20$ donation is requested. No one turned away for lack of funds. All donations go to Egan Warming Center, a program of St. Vincent de Paul. Donations of goods including clean warm hats, gloves, blankets, coats, sweaters, pillows, white socks, and toiletries will be greatly appreciated.
