Downtown Riverfront Park – Design Concepts
July 19 • 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Over the next few months, the City of Eugene Parks and Open Space Division and the design consultant team led by Walker Macy are seeking community input at a series of public meetings.
On Thursday, July 19, weigh in on three design concepts based on the values heard at the May meeting and community survey results. Site tours will be available following the presentation. All ages are welcome, including kids, and light refreshments will be provided.
Downtown Riverfront Park
One of the priorities the City heard most clearly from the community about the future of parks and recreation in Eugene, is providing access to the river – for everything from recreation to simply enjoying the views. The four-acre Downtown Riverfront Park will reunite our city with the river just in time for the 2021 World Track and Field Championships.
