“Farmentation” Bottle Release
March 17 • 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm• Free
OPEN ST.PATTY’S DAY WEEKEND this Sat & Sun 12-8pm!
Join us for the beginning of our Farmentation Bottle Project this weekend. We will be releasing the first two special offerings for this unique series that puts an exacting focus on our farm-to-beer roots – showcasing ingredients directly from our farm. The first of the series being “Fortitude” a Chile Porter sitting at 9.3% abv, followed directly by “Phlogiston” a wonderfully smoky, earthy, and woody Old World Ale (details below). This project represents our continual exploration into infusing alternative farm ingredients into well-researched beer.
We will be providing samples for you to explore throughout the weekend. We encourage you to take a bottle home to share with your friends and family our one-of-a-kind farm experience, now conveniently provided, in an elegantly packaged bottle to go…

FULL BEER DESCRIPTIONS BELOW
Farmentation Project Beer 001 is Fortitude: Chile Porter, Alc/Vol 9.3%. “The Agrarian hop farm exists alongside Crossroads chile farm. With an abundance of chile varieties grown right outside the brewery, brilliant fusions of flavor await our beckoning. In forging huge malt depth with rich chile capsaicinoids, we have created a full and spicy, pitch-black robust porter that exudes layers of coffee and chocolate with a warming dimension of red chile heat. Steady your path and strengthen your experience.”
Farmentation Project Beer 002 is Phlogiston: Old World Ale, Alc/Vol. 6.4%. “In the 18th century a fire-like element called phlogiston was theorized to be contained in all things that burn. For this beer we capture oak phlogiston from our house-smoked malt and combined it with old-world farmhouse techniques. Mashed over Sequoia boughs in oak barrels, infused with pine needles, juniper berries and spruce tips, and fermented in pinot noir barrels; this mahogany-colored ale provides flavors of rich smoke, bright tree resin, and layers of toasted wood.”… “Where there’s smoke, there’s Phlogiston.”
