Friends of Trees Summer Inspector Training
May 10 • 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm• Free
Summer inspectors are always one of our most popular volunteers roles. Why? These trained volunteers learn how to assess the health of newly planted street and yard trees and give homeowners watering and mulching tips. Being a summer inspector gives you a chance to meet your neighbors and to help them take care of their trees during the critical first summer after planting. Each inspector checks on his or her assigned trees twice during the summer, wrapping up by mid August. Plus, you get to stroll around Eugene’s beautiful neighborhoods in the summer sun at your own leisure. Not a bad way to do good work.
Our training is 6-7:30 pm Thursday, May 11. RSVP is required~ Email EugeneTrees@FriendsofTrees.org or call us at 541-632-3683.
