Transform Past Hurt & Trauma Into Powerful Healing For Wellness

I’m not worthy.   I’m not lovable.  I’m not good enough.    I’m not smart enough.

“Emotions follow thoughts which can trigger a stress response in the body and weaken immune function,” explains Dianne Porchia specialist in mind-body medicine and spiritual practices for holistic wellness.

“In each cancer case I work with, I find that deep emotional hurt, trauma or disempowering beliefs from the past reside in the subconscious mind, which creates internalized emotional stress and the steady drip of cortisol stress hormones.  When chronic stress is present, either consciously or subconsciously, stress hormones remain elevated in the body and weaken immune function.” Porchia further explains.

“Ninety-five percent of the time these past hurts, trauma and misunderstandings stem from early childhood.  They feed an inner saboteur voice that repeats, ‘I’m not worthy or deserving of love and success.  I’m not lovable. I’m not good enough. I’m not smart enough.’ When left unhealed, this disempowering belief system creates chronic, low-grade, internalized stress which creates imbalance in the physical body, compromises immune function and allows illness, dis-ease and cancers to take hold in the physical body.”

HEAL Documentary, produced by Elevative Entertainment, taps into the brilliant minds of leading scientists, spiritual teachers and follows three people on actual high stakes healing journeys. Healing can be extremely complex and deeply personal, but it can also happen spontaneously in a moment.

Dianne Porchia is featured in HEAL Documentary for her work with advance stage cancer client Elizabeth who remains cancer free over four years after diagnosis of stage IV anal cancer.  Through these emotional and inspiring stories, we find out what works, what doesn’t, and why.    www.healdocumentary.com

Ask Porchia about her unique holistic approach at the Q&A following HEAL Documentary screening and at the HEAL Documentary reception hosted by Marche’ Restaurant.

Cancer Treatment Centers of America describe cancer as the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body. Cancer develops when the body’s normal control mechanism, i.e. immune system, is weakened or stops working. Old cells do not die and instead grow out of control, forming new, abnormal cells. These extra cells may form a mass of tissue, called a tumor. Some cancers, such as leukemia, do not form tumors. Everyone carries cells that have mutant proteins from DNA damage that has the potential to proliferate and turn into cancer cells. A strong functioning immune system is what keeps these damaged cells in check.

A weakened immune system can also cause a host of other illnesses and disorders including auto-immune disorders. According to WebMD.com Immune system disorders can cause abnormally low activity or over activity of the immune system. In cases of immune system over activity, the body attacks and damages its own tissues (autoimmune diseases). Immune deficiency diseases decrease the body’s ability to fight invaders, causing vulnerability to infections.

“You can’t solve a problem or heal a past hurt from the same mind set or belief that created it in the first place.”

The mind cannot tell the difference between a vivid visualization and reality.  That’s why when we dream about falling off a cliff we can feel the wind beneath our back, or when being chased by a predator we feel our heart pounding hard in our chest, or even have a sleeping orgasm that jolts us awake.

Through expert facilitation and effective hypno-techniques, Porchia helps her clients get out of their analytical mind, where one’s protection mechanism reside, to access core limiting beliefs that reside in the subconscious level. “Guiding my clients into deeper levels of the heart and soul is where true healing can take place,” Porchia states. “You can’t solve a problem or heal a past hurt from the same mind set or belief that created it in the first place.”

Porchia’s family lives in rural Springfield where she envisions offering holistic wellness education and nature appreciation gatherings in the future for the Eugene / Springfield community and welcomes community collaboration ideas.

Currently Porchia is based in Topanga Canyon, Southern California, and works with her clients in an outdoor setting and in hiking sessions where nature plays a big role in the healing that takes place for her clients. She helps clients identify core limiting beliefs, heal childhood trauma and transform an inner saboteur voice into an inner ally to support goals for health, wellness, loving relationship, professional success, personal growth and spiritual connection.  Holistic stress reduction to support immune function, create and maintain successful relationships, personal growth and professional development is often the door opener to Porchia’s healing program. Porchia’s unique and extensive tool box includes meditation, mindfulness, Qi Gong Self-healing, heart-centered communication skills, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), inner child healing work, sacred anger work and compassionate Self-forgiveness, all help to transform an inner saboteur voice into an inner ally for success in goals for health, wellness, loving relationship, professional success, personal and spiritual growth.  Porchia has been successfully transforming people’s lives, health and wellness through her integrated mind-body-heart-soul healing work since 2001.

“Phone sessions are equally as effective for my clients that live out of state and abroad,” she says. “I ask my clients to send me two photographs of their self, one current photo and one between the ages of 5-12 which I use to tune into their energy during sessions,” she further explains about clients as far away as Australia, the United Kingdom and Netherlands.
