Ki Aikido: Calm Mind, Strong Spirit

Want to learn effective self defense without violence? Want to develop a calm and alert mind for meeting today’s challenges? Join us for a Ki Aikido introductory series this September. Learn to use Ki to stay safe and alert. We’ll start with mind-body balance, basic backward and forward rolls, basic defenses to several attacks, and how to use KI (living energy) to find harmony with an “attacker” instead of trying to pit your personal strength against an opponent. Students will experience athletic and energizing training in a positive environment where safety for all is paramount. Ki-Aikido teaches the value of “love and protection for all creation”. This means learning to be safe without violence.
