Cascade Brewers Society (CBS), in conjunction with ColdFire Brewing Company, will host an American Homebrewers Association (AHA) Learn to Homebrew Day event.  The event, which is free and open to the public, will kick off at 11 am. CBS and ColdFire are proud to join with thousands of people hosting Learn to Homebrew Day events worldwide to brew beer and spread the joy of homebrewing.

“Our club has a lot of enthusiasm and experience to share,” says president Michael Gwynn. “We’re excited to celebrate the 20 anniversary of Learn to Homebrew Day at a brewery with rich homebrewing roots. We invite anyone who is curious about homebrewing to join us, ask questions, and see how easy it is to make beer to your own tastes”.

Join the fun at ColdFire Brewing at 263 Mill St, Eugene, Oregon from 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Members of CBS demonstrating and explaining the process of making your own beer at home.  A variety of equipment and methods will be demonstrated, from beginning to advanced brewing systems. New this year, is a mock bottling station where participants can get hands-on with the equipment used to package homebrew. In addition, ColdFire will be serving their delicious handcrafted beers.

About Learn to Homebrew Day

About Cascade Brewers Society

Since 1982, Cascade Brewers Society has been dedicated to the art of crafting beer, mead, cider, and wine at home. The club meets regularly on the last Monday of every month from 7 pm until about 9 pm at various breweries around Eugene. Monthly meetings include informative presentations and the opportunity for members to receive feedback on their latest brews. In addition to monthly meetings, the club sponsors many homebrew-oriented activities. Educational events such as AHA’s Learn to Homebrew Day and Big Brew—National Homebrew Day are held regularly; it’s also common for members to informally gather and brew together.

About ColdFire Brewing
ColdFire Brewing was born as the dream of Dan and Stephen Hughes, brothers by birth and homebrewers since 2001. After a decade apart, the Hughes brothers decided to go into business together and ColdFire was born. Every day, they continue to be humbled by the opportunity to share their craft with others.
