Looking Forward, Giving Back: Looking Glass Dinner/Auction

On Saturday, May 19th, Looking Glass Community Services will put on a live and silent auction in conjunction with table-served dinner, live jazz music and casino games at Valley River Inn in the Willamette Ballroom starting at 5:30 PM. This year’s event is titled “Looking Forward, Giving Back,” and the theme this year is Roaring 20’s.
Tickets for this event can be purchased on the Looking Glass website, www.lookingglass.us/events, or by calling 541-246-2257. Tickets are $125 per seat or $1,000 for a table of 10. Event sponsorships are still available – interested parties should contact Marketing & Development Director Tyler Mack at 541-246-2258 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
This year’s event will include guest speakers consisting of current and former Looking Glass clients. The event Emcee is Travis Fryback, owner and operator of The Party Team, which is also providing the casino games. Casino games will include Roulette, Craps, Blackjack and Poker tables and each event attendee will be provided with a set amount of “funny money” to play with. The funny money can be exchanged for casino game raffle tickets which can be entered into drawings for several prize baskets at the end of the evening.
The auction will consist of live and silent auction items. This year’s auctioneer is Sid Voorhees. There will be a photo booth for event attendee use as well as a “best dressed” contest.
Beer and wine will be provided to the event attendees, with liquor available for purchase. The beer has been donated for the event by Hop Valley Brewing and Coldfire Brewing.

Over the years, our organization has grown, and so have the services we provide.
