Mount Pisgah Arboretum Mushroom Festival

Local area favorite fall festival is back for 38th year! What better way to spend a Sunday in autumn than strolling trails, listening to live music, sampling fresh-pressed cider, and learning about the natural world around us? The community is invited to enjoy this fun, all-ages annual event and support a treasured local resource at the same time. Presented in partnership with The Cascade Mycological Society (CMS) and Lane Community College, this years’ event features:
- More than 300 varieties of mushrooms on display.
- Special guest experts courtesy of CMS– Steve Trudel, author of Mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest and Noah Siegel, author of Mushrooms of the Redwood Coast will be on hand to help identify specimens and answer questions.
- Live music all day
- Local foods, arts & crafts, and plants for sale.
- Family-friendly activities include hayrides, cider pressing, scarecrow contest, face painting, guided nature walks, and more!
All proceeds go to support The Arboretum’s mission to engage people with nature through interactive learning and stewardship.
