Open Heart Open Mind: Retreat

June 28 • 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Three-Day City Retreat with Tulku Jigme Rinpoche
A Teacher of Buddhist Philosophy and Psychology

Fundamentally we all want to be happy, and have the capacity to love and be loved unconditionally. We also wish to seek greater intelligence and wisdom that gives us inner resources to deal with challenges of modern busy life.

Ground breaking scientific research over the past 20 years shows that inner training of the mind can profoundly change the way we are. Therefore, through transforming the mind we can gain genuine happiness and fulfillment.

During this retreat, Tulku Jigme Rinpoche will guide students in meditation and other contemplative practices in understanding the mind and the true nature of reality. By integrating these wisdom teachings in our daily lives our inherent wisdom and love begins to radiate out in everything we do an everyone we encounter. Ultimately we become truly alive, confident, open and flexible in any situation that arises.

Venerable Tulku Jigme Rinpoche is a reincarnated Tibetan Buddhist meditation and philosophy teacher who serves as the director and co-founder of Palmo Center for Peace & Education and Eugene Sakya Center. He has been traveling and teaching in North America and Europe for more than 10 years and more recently hosted the historic visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Eugene, Oregon. With a unique blend of eastern and western perspectives, he teaches with clarity, insight and humor relevant to the western mind.
