Join us on the morning of Friday Dec. 7, from 7:30 – 10:00 am at the University of Oregon EMU Crater Lake Rooms North and South (EMU 145 & 146). With the aroma of fresh-roasted coffee in the air, we will gather to talk about horses and the importance of rescue work while enjoying a hot breakfast together. Guests will be offered a delightful buffet selection of seasonal frittatas while listening to inspiriting tales of equine rescue and learning about the new direction of OHR’s work.
The Menu: Choose from smoked pork belly with apples and onion or smoked salmon with goat cheese baked in an egg custard and topped with cheddar cheese. Vegans and vegetarians will love the tofu and root vegetable scramble. All breakfast options are served with home-fried potatoes and fresh hand-cut fruit, with coffee and tea.
Come on out and help horses by supporting a charitable cause. Tickets available for purchase online at ohrbreakfast.brownpapertickets.com — $15 per person for breakfast. Meet other like-minded animal lovers, help us raise funds, and join us in honoring some of our biggest supporters over the past five years and discussing the exciting program changes anticipated for 2019. See a slideshow of the rescue horses and hear testimonies from those who have worked closely with them. Attendee’s will be eligible to win a gift from Wilco, a generous supporter of this event.
