June 8 • 9:00 pm• $10 – $15
On Friday, June 8, InSight Events proudly presents PartyWave at the WOW Hall along with special guests Hal-V & SpaceCase, KWVA’s Ginja and more.
PartyWave is an emerging artist in forward-thinking bass music. Displaying a large range of styles in his production, his DJ sets are full of diversity and energetic vibes. His music carries an array of bass, melody, and a unique way of merging genres together to create a new, fresh sound. While being inspired by all ‘genres’ of music, his background brings in a fresh twist to his production. Born and raised in CA, his connection to the ocean and passion for surfing plays a vital role in his creative flow. Much like surfing, improvisation is a key asset that separates his style from other producers/DJ’s. Sharing the stage with a diversity of well known artists and inspirations such as; Mr. Carmack, Eprom, Hucci, G Jones, Great Dane… (to name a few); PartyWave is now touring the nation and is a rising act on the festival circuit representing west coast bass music. PartyWave continues to produce fresh material on a consistent basis and. with multiple west coast tours under his belt, eyes are on him with nation-wide and international bookings.
HAL-V & SpaceCase crown Portland their home, dedicating themselves to the music and the people, with a genuine love for the culture, and laid-back attitudes. Jacob Halverson (a proud Canadian) and Sean Marler (ATL born, Portland raised) bring a hip-hop influenced, alien esc, bass-heavy sound to the electronic scene through a dynamic, energetic stage presence. The DJ / producer duo have a yin and yang collaboration that results in a powerful combination both professionally and musically. They got their start in 2011 while attending Oregon State University, linking up for a back-to-back set and have worked together ever since. Their brilliance stems from their ability to expertly cater their sets according to the crowd, show, and other artists while still staying true to their sound. Their dedication to new material guarantees a unique performance every time. They continue to push their production boundaries by experimenting with new sounds and focusing on a clean, bass heavy production.
