Pau Hana Fridays featuring Bryan Tolentino

August 17: Pau Hana Fridays, 6:00-9:00 p.m. featuring Bryan Tolentino and Del Beazley with pre-show entertainment by ‘Olekona.

Bryan Tolentino is a self-taught ‘ukulele player who has been playing since the age of 10. His music is a blend of Hawaiian, contemporary and original songs. Bryan recently won the 2018 Na Hoku Hanohano ‘Ukulele Album of the Year award for his album “‘Ukulele Friends: The Sequel” with Herb Ohta Jr.

Del beazley is a Hawaiian musician from the island of ‘Oahu in Hawai’i. Del wrote and composed the famous song “Maui Hawaiian Suppa Man,” performed by the late Israel Kamakawiwo’ole.

‘Olekona consists of Matthew Riley, Maggie Matoba, Neal Chin and Jon Labrousse. ‘Olekona’s music is a fusion of styles and arrangements including Hawaiian slack key, jazz and ‘ukulele. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Every Day Kine Grindz and Whirled Pies. Tickets $10-20, children 12 and under free.
