Pema Chödrön Wednesdays (and one Sunday)
October 3 • 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Based on the teachings of Ani Pema Chödrön we will explore the Buddhist view of the “self”. Shakyamuni Buddha said, “there is no self”.
How can that be true?
Join us as we explore our notion of a Permanent, Solid and Separate self!
All of us go through life believing we exist and experience a self that is always with us, so how can it be true that the self does not actually exist?
We will spend 4 Wednesday evenings uncovering the idea of self and how to start working with selflessness. Through dharma teachings, meditation and discussion we will connect with our own wisdom and experience of selflessness.
