Explore Nature ~ Enjoy Music ~ Bring the Family!
The Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah’s new event, PISGAH HERITAGE FESTIVAL, will showcase the cultural, agricultural, and natural heritage of the Mt. Pisgah and Buford Park area. Presented by Wildcraft Cider Works, this event will feature fun family activities, guided kid friendly hikes and tours, non-profit booths, native plant sale, music, and food & drink. Come explore the historic North Bottomlands of Buford Park, nestled between the Coast Fork and the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. Join us for a fun day at Mt. Pisgah and learn about the rich history and evolving landscape of the North end of the park!
We’ll have fun kid activities and local musical acts performing next to our gorgeous Native Plant Nursery. We’re so excited to announce our musical guests: Side of Beets (featuring members of Eugene’s favorite band, The Sugar Beets) and singer-songwriter Tyler Morin. Other acts TBA. Bring a blanket or folding chairs so you can sit and enjoy the music.
Wildcraft Cider Works will be pouring a vertical tasting of ciders made from heritage fruit harvested in the North Bottomlands, including non-alcoholic sparkling cider. Agrarian Ales will be providing an IPA made with heritage Seavey Hops, and Territorial Vineyard will be providing locally produced wines. Non-Alcohol drinks will also be available, and food will be provided by local food trucks. We’ll also have vendors, non-profits and other community booths for you to visit.
