Playing Nirvana, Improvised Solo Piano Music at the Intersection of the Human & the Divine
July 29 • 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm• Free
Featuring Beth Green, also known as Granny Rocks.
If you love the experience of beautiful piano music, the vibrational energy that can transport you to another dimension, don’t miss Playing Nirvana, intuitively guided improvised piano music played on Nirvana, Beth’s Shigeru Kawai grand. Beth was trained as a classical musician but became chronically ill at the age of 15, when she said good-bye to music — she thought forever. In her 50s, she discovered she could compose music through the computer. But now, 58 years after she stopped playing the piano, she has been able to return to the instrument in a miraculous way and is offering her beautiful heartfelt music to the community. Her husband “Sweet Baby” James Maynard will open the program by singing one of her original songs off her latest album, Rumblings of Revolution. They will be gifting all attendees with a free copy of the CD. Since this will be held in a private home, please RSVP to let them know how many are coming. Call 541 659-5130. Free of charge. Donations welcome.
