Rudra Meditation (Kundalini Yoga Meditation)

An event every week that begins at 7:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, repeating until August 30, 2018
At the beginning of every class we will give the introduction to the technique for any new students. Beginners welcome!
This class is a “deep-end” Rudra meditation, taught by a spiritual teacher certified in an ancient tradition and lineage. It is not a physical movement-type yoga class. Classes are taught by Kristina Jones or Jenifer Wuite in the lineage of spiritual master Stuart Perrin and Swami Rudrananda (Rudi).
You will work with the 7 major energy centers in the chakra system and utilize the special breathing exercise as developed by Rudi to use in the open-eye meditation session with the teacher. Energy transmission from the teacher to the students takes place through eye contact and speech.
Questions will be welcome after the session. Ongoing weekly classes and quarterly weekend retreats are available for those who wish to pursue this practice of meditation.
$5 donation is requested to help pay the rental fee, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Beginners welcome! Yoga mats not needed; cushions and chairs are provided for sitting.
Please arrive by 7:30 p.m sharp before meditation begins.
