See Your Book as a Retail Commodity — A Workshop by Mark Staneart

May 21 • 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$5 - $10

People often come to Mark with great pride and enthusiasm, declaring, “I’ve gotten my book published!” He respond to them, “Now the work begins!” You see, writing your book was the easy part. You’re a writer. You just can’t help yourself. But, the real work, the real test of success, is if you’re willing to do what it takes to get out and sell it.

Mark is the owner of, “Think Brain Candy,” a local, independent bookshop, located in Lebanon, Oregon. He’s been a professional recording artist and musician. He’s worked in marketing and business consulting on behalf of several companies in the mid-valley. He administers the Facebook news group, “The Buzz in Lebanon, Oregon”, which has over 11,000 members. His early writing career was at Hewlett-Packard, as a technical writer for security, life-safety, and emergency management. He’s also published books on theology, parenting, and pregnancy. Mark and his wife have 10 children.
