SMJ Comes to Life (or Death?) Come if you dare. Saturday Oct 27th 12 pm – 4 pm

October 27 • 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Throughout history, all cultures have had rituals and customs around death, but the Victorian’s were experts at mourning their dead. They almost made it a lifestyle.

On October 27th, we invite you to immerse yourself in the Victorian Mourning rituals and customs. Clothing, food, periods of mourning, photos of the dead…
While you are here, visit with a few Victorians….We will be hosting Mary Shelley, Abigail Scott Duniway, and Miss Havisham among others for you to visit with…

While many think the Victorian’s were uptight and a bit prudish, one area they loved (besides mourning) was the paranormal… A day of mourning wouldn’t be complete without a tarot reader on hand to tell you your future…
