Ready to write your memoir? Join author Bronwynn Dean for this memoir writing workshop at the Springfield Public Library on January 14!

This two-hour workshop perfect for beginning writers who would like to get started on a memoir. Basic structure, project development, and discussions on truth and the reliability of memory will fill the first half of the workshop. The second will be devoted to writing prompts designed to get participants started on their work and targeted to where to go from there.

About the Instructor: Bronwynn Dean holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goddard College. Her work has appeared in Creative Nonfiction, The Pitkin Review, Soundings Review, Sativa, Bang! Magazine and The Eugene Weekly. She teaches, tutors young writers, copyedits, and works at the local independent bookstore.
