Learn the best exercises and stretches for getting the most out of partner dancing. We’ll discuss how to create a proper frame and how to strengthen your back body to make the frame. We’ll also work on how to lengthen and strengthen your legs for those long nights on the dance floor!
Taught by Salseros Dance Studio instructor Paula Tomczak. Before becoming a salsa and bachata dancer, Paula had training in ballet, modern, and jazz, as well as other dances. As a former surgical nurse and massage therapist focused on injury prevention and rehabilitation, she will be incorporating her knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various dance styles into this workshop.
All levels welcome. Please bring a yoga mat or pad and wear athletic/ workout clothing.
