June 14 • 9:00 pm - 11:59 pm• $3 – $5
SURFS DRUGS – Surfs Drugs is the brain child of Berg Radin, who splits his Eugene time with Portland mainstays And And And.
NIGHT HERON – Night Heron is headed up by Cameron Spies, who spent the previous 7 years touring and turning out critically acclaimed albums with indie darlings Radiation City. Instrumentally and sonically, not a far cry from Radiation City, though he has surrendered lush jazz chords for gritty guitarmonies and non-linear song structures. Bud Wilson of Aan and Tyler Verigin of Reptalians play in Night Heron.
COLIN JENKINS – Jenkins’ debut album, “Re: fwd: FWD:”, released March of 2018 is a hook-focused, bruised-heart, shotgun of PBR&B. Jenkins’ sound is a nod to retro blue-eyed soul, placed over a bed of modern production. The album’s vocal delivery feels as clean as a brand new pair of sneakers; and lyrically, Jenkins croons about tongue-in-cheek references, which include a loathing of Golden State Warrior bandwagoning to a turbulent relationship with one’s weed dealer.
