Grab your yoga mat and join us for this new classical music-themed yoga class, featuring music selected from upcoming Eugene Symphony performances. This class is a slow, gentle yoga class suitable for all body types and all levels of experience. Beginners are welcome, and no yoga or music experience is necessary! This is a non-heated yoga class, and is first come, first serve.
Like other styles of yoga, gentle yoga can relieve stress, increase flexibility, enhance range of motion, calm the mind, and strengthen the body. Lydia Van Dreel, class instructor, is an RYT200 (registered yoga teacher) trained at Wild Light Yoga Center as a student of Jess Dion. Lydia plays horn in the Eugene Symphony and is Professor of Horn at the University of Oregon. This class is a partnership between the Eugene Symphony and Wild Light Yoga Center.
Class Fee: $15 General / $10 for Symphony Subscribers (Subscribers will be emailed the discount code.) Wild Light Yoga Center studio members can attend on the WLYC Studio Pass.
