Works by JOJO ABOT

During the month of January, the Community Center for the Performing Arts will proudly display Works by JOJO ABOT in the Lobby Art Gallery of the WOW Hall.

Ghanaian singer-songwriter JOJO ABOT is an artist whose signature sound and style is created by an experimental blend of traditional and contemporary styles. Her debut EP, Fyfya Woto, centered on the intergenerational ties that bind women together. Also an active visual artist, JOJO ABOT expresses herself through film, photography, sound architecture, literature and performance art.

JOJO ABOT toured as supporting slot in Lauryn Hill’s tour into the Fall of 2017. She will perform at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts January 22 and 24 and at the WOW Hall on January 26.

The WOW Hall Lobby Art Gallery is open for viewing during box office hours, noon – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.   The WOW Hall is located at 291 W. 8th Ave. (the corner of 8th and Lincoln in Eugene) and is open for all ages.   For more information please call 541-687-2746.
