Judy Ness has been weaving and teaching fiber arts since 1994. A graduate of Iowa State University (1974, BS) and of the University of Oregon, she received a BFA (1997) and MFA (2000) in Fine Arts Textiles/Weaving. Judy has participated in over eighty exhibitions on the local, regional and national level. The Dendel Scholarship from the Handweavers Guild of America supported her study of jacquard techniques at Foundation Lisio in Florence, Italy in 1998. White Lotus Gallery is pleased to announce our annual Winter Open House, featuring new jewelry by Christine L. Sundt and Suzanne Linquist and hand-dyed silk scarves by Mihara Shibori. Christine L. Sundt has been making jewelry since the mid-1990s and draws her inspiration from her surroundings, such as pieces of metal, faceted or natural stones, fibers, colors and textures.
